Dear Parents & Students, Under current circumstances we unfortunately will not be in a position to deliver our Easter revision course in the normal manner. We are very conscious of the huge impact that this will have on all students. We have been in discussions with the teachers regarding the best format for all concerned to proceed. Leaving Certificate oral exams cancelled over Covid-19


All Leaving Cert students studying languages will receive marks of 100% in lieu of oral assessments that were due to be held in Irish and modern European languages. The measure has been announced by Minister for Education Joe McHugh. Oral exams were due to begin on 23 March but have now been cancelled. The oral assessment is worth 40% of overall marks in Irish, and 25% in modern European languages. Supervised Study and Weekly Grinds


Limerick Tutorial College is currently closed until Sunday 29th March. Weekly grinds will commence on Saturday 4th April. Supervised Study will commence Monday 30th March. These are provisional dates subject to confirmation of schools opening from the Department of Health and the Department of Education.

Irish Oral Preparation Day-March 21st and March 28th


Limerick Tutorial College is closed until March 29th 2020. We will release a rescheduled date for the Irish Oral Preparation Courses for Sat March 21st and Sat March 28th when we receive notification from the Department of Education of the actual Oral date for schools.

COVID-19: School is Closed until 29th March


Dear parent/guardian. We have received calls that due to phone network difficulty some people did not receive the original text message from the school at lunch time today. Please be advised: Dear Parent/guardian. The government has announced that Ireland's schools, colleges and childcare facilities are to close in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic. LTC will close at 6pm this evening until March 29th. The College will open from 9am-12pm tomorrow Friday 13th to facilitate collection of books.
